Calculate your Food Servings Size

Servings:  

 Daily Food Choices 

Dairy (milk, yogurt, cheese)  

Protein foods (meat, fish, beans, eggs, nuts)  

Vegetables  

Fruits  

Grains (bread, cereal, rice, pasta)  

Fats, oils, & sweets  

  

Instructions:

  1. Enter the number of servings of which you want to know the size in the text field next to "Servings". By default, the value is 1.
  2. Choose from the drop-down boxes the foods which you want to assess. Food choices are presented by groups following the U.S. "My Plate" dietary model.
  3. The serving size indicated in the "My Plate" recommendations and on food labels is a standardised unit of measure and may not represent the portion of food a person actually eats on one occasion. If one eats a larger portion, count it as more than 1 serving.
