But one would not likely expect finding a bunch of small European countries in the 5 top ranks in per capita terms, thus outperforming the heavyweights. Switzerland and the Scandinavian countries put forward a remarkable performance, well above the median position occupied by Australia. Germany, France or Japan have a comparatively modest standing.
