He also achieved the high performance of being second in the overall time ranking, between the Tour winner Contador and number three Armstrong. His brother Fränk had quite a performance too, finishing the Tour at the fifth rank. The average time of the young riders is 88:02:40 or 02:09:54 more than the leader. The leader wears a "maillot blanc" (white jersey) that signals the best rider under 25 on 1 January of the same year.
