The mythical Ferrari car maker ranked 16 times first, 16 times second and 12 times third, making a total of 44 podiums, in the Formula 1 teams championship since its inception in 1958. This long-lasting supremacy smooths away the ups and downs of Ferrari's fortunes, and does not reveal the team's recent difficulties to compete with the likes of RBR-Renault or, in the last three years, Mercedes. The fact is that Ferrari has not won the constructor championship since 2008, although the team has always taken a honorable rank in the final standings.
