Radiative Forcing
The radiative forcing capacity (RF) is the amount of energy per unit area per unit time, absorbed by the greenhouse gas, which would otherwise be lost to space.

The radiative forcing capacity offers a simplified means of comparing to one another the different factors that influence the climate system. RF is used to calculate the GWP (Global warming potential).
