- Radiative forcing
- The radiative forcing capacity (RF) is the amount of energy per unit area per unit time, absorbed by the greenhouse gas, which would otherwise be lost to space.
- The radiative forcing capacity offers a simplified means of comparing to one another the different factors that influence the climate system. RF is used to calculate the GWP (Global warming potential).
